Daniel Lara says • 1 week agoToday I heard "Here we go" after shower, and I couldn't help to dance alone dressed in a towel. I like the tune personally, but I think PeR won't qualify....I don't know why!
Daniel Lara says • 20/Apr at 02:22This year, Melodifestivalen wasn't as espectacular as last year's. Even though, Robin Stjernberg saved the day. Sweden couldn't choose a better host entry (one of the most decent, as Louise Hoffsten's "Only the dead fish follow the stream" and Ralf Gyllenhammar's "Bed on fire").
Do you think it would be convenient to come back to the days in which all the entries where sang in their native languages?
About Norway, yes, Margaret's English is a little bit weird. There are words that aren't pronounced properly.
Daniel Lara says • 17/Apr at 18:13Yes, and with Norway, no one knows. I liked Norway last year before ESC, and now, I hate "Stay". This year, my expectacions about "I feed you my love" are high, and Margaret's voice is fantastic (I heard her live in the Norwegian final).
I have also great expectancies with Denmark, Germany and Italy. I like them in their style and music contribution.
Reply from David:You are a true Euro-fan, I wish I would have more time for it and I could watch national selections too. The only ones I watched this year were Latvian and Swedish one, however I'm not happy neither with Latvian or Swedish entries. I had another faves!!!! :(
About the Germany, I can agree, but I heard her live performance and it wasn't that good at all. I really do like Norweagian singer this year and her performance on stage very very detailed and simple and her voice very clear. The only thing that could be misunderstood is the lyrics "I feed you my love" sounds a bit weird in English, to be fair. :)
Daniel Lara says • 19/Mar at 23:22Tell me, what are your favourites this year?
Latvia surprised me a lot this year! I really like PeR! It's a genuine breath of fresh air! :D
Reply from David:Norway is kind of my favorite this year, but it can change, because live performances mostly are very different from recordings.
Daniel Lara says • 13/Mar at 14:27No problem. I understand. We can always talk through Eurovision Family, can't we?
