About me

I am sure I am not the oldest fan on here at 49, but perhaps in the "older" group. ;) Sometimes I do feel old when I hear 20 year old fans say that the first ESC they watched was in 1998. ;) The first...

My 8 canaries listened to the previews and here is their top 5..

5. Norway. They liked the intro to this, and as the song launched into the chorus, my 3 younger males launched into song - Anixi particularly. Hmm, could he be harbouring a like for Tooji? ;)

4. Bulgaria. WTF is it with them and Bulgaria? Last year they predicted Bulgaria to win and had it in their #1 spot. They seem to like the "dorem dey dey dey" bit a lot, and even my two girls Maya and Vrissi chirruped to it. (female canaries don't sing)

3. Moldova. Lots for positive reaction for the guy and his trumpet, with all the males blowing their own little trumpets, so to speak, along with this. Was quite deafened....

2. France. Was their #1 for ages, but now they don't seem quite as enthusiastic about it. Everytime it comes on though, I see them think "Oh yeah, we like this one" and the racket starts. ;) Earplugs needed - and not for Anggun, as I'm sure some people are going to say.... ;)

And finally we come to their top fave and the song they predict will win ESC....

1. Romania! Rampant singing to them from the guys all the way through, every time, and their clear fave.

So there you have it. :) The Tweetometer predicts Romania to da wonning!

PS Special mention must go to Macedonia, which got a lot of WTF looks, Slovakia, which they sat through in stunned silence, and the Ukraine, which they had sex to. ;)
