A little story about me

I'm a singer living in Oslo, Norway but I come originally from Wales in the UK.

In 2005 I took part in the Norwegian selection for Eurovision, Melodi Grand Prix with Blissed. Our song was called "You Are The One"
In 2006 I was a backing singer in Melodi Grand Prix, the first year that Norway started with semi finals, and was there in Alta on that historic night in Eurovision history, it is the furthest north in the world that an event connected to the Eurovision Song Contest has been staged...ever.

I also had the pleasure earlier this year of meeting Benny and Björn and what can I say....WOW! That was special!

I hope one day to take part in the Eurovision final.

Hey there!
I sat in Oslo Spektrum back in 2005 and saw you perform. And I really enjoyed your entry... Especially that wicked key change!!! :)

Hey!
Well what can I say....it's a small world! You gotta love that key change! What were you doing over in Oslo? Was it for the final? Well, I'd love to help you out with som info about Norway but it looks like one of the hot favourites so the media have got it all pretty well covered!

Norwegian national selection this year is very strong and exciting! I have been following it since the first heat! For the last semi-final, please cast at least one vote (figuratively for me!) to "Fairytale". I think among many good songs, that song seems to be the best, musically! Also, I think the music of that song is just made for some dazzling performance so I crazily look forward to Alexander's performance
Thanks
Talk to you later

Hey! Thanks for leaving your comment on my page!
I certainly enjoy this season a lot. Yesterday, lots of finals and people were very swift and generous to upload videos even when the shows were still running so very exciting!
Anyway, Norwegian songs in the heats are very strong. I like many of them, and for the second heat I totally agree with the two songs proceeding to the final!
For UK, quite the buzz about its come-back and "investment" this year; The song is good but it does not really live up to my expectation! once again, It's still a very nice song!!

It nice to read blogs written by non-British viewers which give us a different perspective, avoiding biases. Good luck to dream to be part of Eurovision in the future. Rey
