In a statement from the EBU, they have declared that after Jedward broke one of the rules set by Ireland's broadcaster RTE, therefore took action and Ireland is disqualified from this year's Eurovision Song Contest.
The RTE rule that Jedward has broke was the rule which stated to all five of Ireland's hopeful acts that their song CANNOT be published BEFORE the Irish Eurosong final itself. However a snippet of "Lipstick" was put up on Amazon, few days before Eurosong.

So that's a huge sigh of relief for those in the second semi final, one act out already before it's even started! - Ed.
