Nathalie is an artist with a story. In the Netherlands she is known from her performances during Idols 4. In Africa she is known for being a member of one of the biggest gospel bands, Makoma. But Nathalie Youth Nathalie was born on the 24th of February 1982 in Kinshasa (DRC Congo) as the youngest of a family with six children. For political reasons she is forced to flee to the Netherlands. In her younger years Gospel success When Nathalie is fourteen she moves back to the Netherlands and starts an education in Onstage Performance at the Rockacademie in Tilburg. At the same time the Makoma band keeps on becoming more successful In 2004 Nathalie decides to stop with the Makoma Band and starts working at a ‘normal’ job. She works in England and later on in Ireland. In 2007 Nathalie returns to the Netherlands. Still she is Idols One day Nathalie receives a phone call from a cousin. She subscribed Nathalie for the television talent contest Idols. Nathalie is very nervous but also excited to join the competition. Against all her After Idols Nathalie was signed by Sony due to her great performances in the final show of Idols in 2008. Because of the power Idols has, they offered her a contract that is not in the first place in favor of the artist, but still interesting enough to sign to kick off your carreer... Sony had a big share Unfortunately they only released just 2 singles in 3 years, but at the same time earned a lot of money by all of her bookings in that period. She had more then 100 bookings a year. Also due to bad management by the A&R at that time, she was forced to do songs that were not 100% "her thing". She was not given the opportunity to do her own songs or style she want's to write for herself and beeing herself as an Artist. To end the big income loss on her bookings she decided to end the "Idols deal" and look for other Labels and opportunity to continue her carreer. She's seeking for a label that has a long term vision and want to work towards an Artist Album and music placements in movies and commercials and in a very long term. Single release Nathalie's first single 'I Won't Forget' is a great dance single. This song was also remixed by former nr. 1 of the world; DJ Paul van Dyck and was also included on the Dance4Life album and second single...
