According to this news, Engelbert Humperdinck will represent the United Kingdom in Baku:

There news about the British representative should had been announced at 22:30 CET, and at the moment, it is said that it is only available for British citizens.

Rumors are at least saying at the moment, that it might be Engelbert Humperdinck.

Earlier, at the end of the month, it was said that Atomic Kittens would represent the UK, but proved to be fake news.

We await an approval of the Eurovision team for this news.

It is also unknown at the moment, when the song will be revealed, and what the song title is.

UK last year sent the boyband Blue to represent the Britain's, and finished in the grand final on 11th place with exactly 100 points, with the song ''I Can''

It has just been confirmed that Engelbert Humperdinck, will represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Sontest, to be held in Baku.

It is still unknown when the song and what the song title is of the entry, but at the moment it is known that the song will be produced by Martin Terefe and written by Martin Terefe and Sacha Skarbek.

Engelbert Humperdinck, will at the moment of the contest in May, be at the age of 76 years, which means he will be the oldest person to perform on the stage ever.

The person who held the record until now, of being the oldest person on stage, is the Croatian representative in 2008 under the stage name 75 Cents, which real name was Ladislav Demeterffy, but unfortunately he died on 19 November 2010
