Review Of The ESC 2012 Songs: Ireland

Singer(s): Jedward
Song: Waterline
Country: Ireland

First Thought:
Jedward expressed their wishes about returning to the Eurovision Song Contest this year, after archiving a top 10 place last year, and getting the best Irish place since 2000, so they were up for competing again, to represent Ireland again, and these news made me happy because I really enjoyed ''Lipstick'' last year, but when I heard the song for this year, I was asking myself, that they got to be kidding, because the song is so boring.

My Review:
''Lipstick'' is way over the top better than ''Waterline'', because ''Lipstick'' showed Europe who they really are, that they are 2 boys that like to jump like crazy maniacs, but ''Waterline'' is such a weak song if we compere those 2 songs, because people will for sure remember Jedward after all the craziness last year, and when people will see them perform ''Waterline'', then people will think what happened to them, and think that they have become boring, because unlike ''Lipstick'' the boys can not jump around as crazy like last year, so people will think they are boring this year, and very fast forget about them, but it is still a fair good pop song.

Ratings:
6 Out of 10 Stars

Future:
I was listening to ''Lipstick'' like a real maniac last year, but ''Waterline'' I barely listen to at all, because whenever I hear the song, the I begin to think that this song is so boring and slow, compared to ''Lipstick'' of course, and that makes my interest fade away really fast, so I have no idea if I'll listen to ''Waterline'' at all, even if we get closer to the competition, or even after the competition, because I will rather listen to ''Lipstick''

The Draw:
Ireland will perform as number 18 in the first semi-final, which also happens to be the last number, and if people remember, then they did also perform last in the second semi-final last year, but when the result was revealed they barely made it to the finals, and do we look on the songs before Ireland, then there is a lot of craziness from Austria and Moldova, so I actually think that Jedward will struggle, to get to the finals.

Presentation Ideas:
I do really believe that they want to do something like last year, but I really feel that they wont, because the song really don't allow them to jump that much around, because the song is really slow compared to last year, so they will for sure instead be going around each other instead, as they did at the national final, and of course they'll need backing vocals again.
