EBC 2011: Eurovision Battle Cup 2011 (Groups)

Hello Europe, and welcome to the first EBC: Eurovision Battle Cup 2011

This is how the rules are:
there will be 10 differrent groups with 4 countries in group 3-10 and 3 in the group 1 & 2.
This is a competition where you decided who will win the EBC and also maybe the ESC.

When all the songs are revealed for the Eurovision Song Contest, then you can come back to vote on your favorite country in each group, where the top 2 will advance to the next round.

38 countries will compete in the group stage while the BIG 5 is allready in the knockout stage.

These are the following groups:

(Round 1) = 13 March - 26 March

Group A: Allbania, Azerbaijan & Latvia

Group B: Estonia, Lithuania & Netherlands

Group C: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus & Iceland

Group D: Belgium, Denmark, Georgia & Hungary

Group E: Romania, Russia, San Marino & Ukraine

Group F: Greece, Israel, F.Y.R. Macedonia & Portugal

Group G: Finland, Ireland, Slovenia & Turkey

Group H: Belarus, Norway, Serbia & Sweden

Group I: Armenia, Austria, Malta & Slovakia

Group J: Bosnia & Hercegovina, Moldova, Poland & Switzerland

On 13 March, the polls will be open and you can vote in each poll one time.

The BIG 5 countries(France, Germany, Italy, Spain & UK) is allready in the knockout stages, so they are will be sure to get a spot in top 25

in the second round, the knockout stage, will begin where the BIG 5 will join as following.

(Round 2) = 27 March - 2 April

Match 1: A1 vs. B2 vs. Italy

Match 2: A2 vs. B1

Match 3: C1 vs. D2

Match 4: C2 vs. D1 vs. United Kingdom

Match 5: E1 vs. F2 vs. Germany

Match 6: E2 vs. F1

Match 7: G1 vs. H2 vs. France

Match 8: G2 vs. H1

Match 9: I1 vs. J2

Match 10: I2 vs. J1 vs. Spain

(Round 3) = 3 April - 8 April

Quarter-final 1: Match 1 vs. Match 10

Quarter-final 2: Match 2 vs. Match 9

Quarter-final 3: Match 3 vs. Match 8

Quarter-final 4: Match 4 vs. Match 7

Quarter-final 5: Match 5 vs. Match 6

(Round 4) = 8 April - 17 April

Semi-final 1: Quarter-final 2 vs. Quarter-final 4

Semi-final 2: Quarter-final 1 vs. Quarter-final 3 vs. Quarter-final 5

(Round 5) = 18 April - 1 May

Final: Semi-final 1 winner vs. Semi-final 2 winner

3rd Play-off: Semi-final 1 loser vs. Semi-final 2 second

5th: Semi-final 2 loser
