because im from australia, not many people my age care about eurovision, or even know what it is, its its nice to have somthing to listen to (even if i dont necessarily agree with the jukebox jury, hahaha)
keep up the great work, and i cant wait to listen to your future podcasts!

Watched BBC3's 100 Most Annoying People of 2010 and did you know that the Eurovision Song Contest was at number 88 as a result of the UK's disastrous entry?

I heard that Jedward are trying to enter next year's Eurovision Song Contest for Ireland.
Still mentored by Louis Walsh, Louis says he's serious about it (according to Digital Spy anyway).
So Ewan, how well do you think Jedward would fare at Eurovision?

    Reply from Ewan:

    1) I think Jedward will get a lot of phoen votes in Ireland and go through.

    2) I think Dustin the Turkey will no longer be the worst Irish ESC entrant.

I'll take Azerbaijan's example and since 2008 they are serious and passionate about Eurovision hence the recent good entries they sent in.
Even if they didn't win at least they accept it and move on to next year.
So I think the UK should take notice and follow Azerbaijan's example for Eurovision success but convincing them is another thing.
