A little story about me

I have been living in Europe for 2 years.
I lived in Greece, (Pirgos) and then
Italy (Foggia)
where I had been working as an English teacher. Now I'm back in the UK to work for a summer language school (yes, in the winter... we have to prepare everything!).

But i get to travel an awful lot around Europe!

I love talking to new people so please add me on msn!

gjones1985@hotmail.co.uk

Favourite singers

Madonna, Sugababes, Britney Spears, Lady GaGa, Leona Lewis, Janet Jackson

My favourite songs of the moment are;

The Spell- Alphabeat
Happy- Leona Lewis
3- Britney Spears
About A Girl- Sugababes V.4

My favourite Eurovision Song of recent years has to be Kalomoira's 'My Secret Combination', the song was catchy and more than anything it reminds me of my time spent living in Greece!

Hi to you too, Glenn.

All is great here in Finland. We actually have a little snow here already (I live in the north) :)

I think I'd buy Yohanna's album too if came across one. The record selection here is a bit limited. I've been listening to Is It True? a lot recently. I think it works better in the autumn than in summer. :)

Hi Glenn, how are you? :-)) Thanks for adding me! Wasn't it a relief for the UK to end up on the left-hand side of the scoreboard for once? Who will write for us next year? My faves this time were Patricia & Waldo's: what were yours? Would you like to IM or email me? Take care for now.

I agree, most of those songs shouldn't have won in the first place (the best example, Estonia, that was a real piece of shit). Anyways, every single year there are songs which don't make it but that are clearly better!!!

Buongiorno! Cheers for the invite, its so good to talk to Eurovision freaks like me for once, you don't find many of them over here. So are you going to Oslo 2010? I would give ANYTHING to go. That is on my bucket list, to go to a ESC live. Anyways, wanted to ask what your top 10 was from 2009? xx
Reply from Glenn:
Hi! I am so sorry it took me so long to reply!

Kalimera!
Unfortunately I have forgotten a lot of my Greek... I was learning, but because I then moved to Italy and started with that language lots of the Greek I learnt has gone! I do remember the alphabet though!
Have you ever been to Pyrgos? It was a small town but a nice introduction to your beautiful country!

Thanks!
Ani Lorak had been populal in our country long before Eurovision-2008 as now she is. I think she was our better choice after Ruslana, of course

Hi, Glenn! Congratulate you with a good choice!
Jade Ewen was at our National final and I liked her song very much. Good luck in Moscow!

And what can you say about our participant Svetlana Loboda and her song Be My Valentine?

Here you can see her music video:
