A little story about me

***I love the song Milim so much, that I made my own English version of it (though I like it better in hebrew, and hope he keeps it in hebrew) here it is..hope you guys like it...

Feelin’ so lost and alone
Thinking of you up in my room
Can’t believe this is it
The truth behind what we had me and you

I guess I can’t have what I want
But I’ll cherish you, forever more in my heart,
or in the prayers of mine

You’ll never know
The tears I cry from you
You’ll never know
The times when dreams seem real
You’ll never know
The love I have for you
God, you’ll never know

There’s a burden between me and you me and you
But I hoped you’d know my love for you is real and true

You’ll never know
The tears I cry for you
You’ll never know
The times when dreams seem true
You’ll never know
The love I have for you
God, no you’ll never know

The time will pass and heal the pains I have
But my heart will break again and again
For as long as I dream of you, and think of you

Favourite singers

MY FINAL PREDICTION FOR 2010 EUROVISION!

1. ARMENIA (Eva is in the lead in most of prestigious web sites polls, the bookmakers have given her a top 5, I say she's a winner for me)
2. ISRAEL (My second favorite entry, This is by far the best Israeli entry..GOOD LUCK)
3. GERMANY (The song is catchy, in a year where there's no Dum Tek Tek, Satellit can do well)
4. TURKEY (One of many great songs Turkey sends every year, I love this song)
5. Croatia (The ladies are beautiful, I think they will end the night in top 10)
6. DENMARK (I don't really like this song, but it will do well)
7. AZERBAIJAN (Always was a lot better, but considering the fact that Azerbaijan spent probably 50% of it's GDP to advertise the song, then I am sure it will end in top 10 though the lyrics are crap)
8. ALBANIA (really love the song, it's catchy and it's kool, hopefully they will gather good amount of points)
9. GREECE (Another nice, ethnic greek music. Knowing that Greeks are so talanted, I have no doubt that they will throw a spectacular show)
10. GEORGIA (Sopho is beautiful, her song is nice, and I will only the best to our neighbors)
ALSO LIKE!
11. Latvia-I think the song has a good message, and the girl is smokin hot
12. Belarus-Nice ballad, one of the members I think is Armenian that's a big +to get points from Armenia;)
13. Iceland-haven't really heard the song all the way, but it's ok
14. Lithuania-These guys know how to party, the song is too fun, a little silly but still kool
AND TO THE REST....GOOD LUCK FROM ARMENIA! Hopefully next year we can all meet in Yerevan, but even if not, think if Apricot stone, not as a fruit, but think outside the box, and you'll discover that this beautiful song is about finding your self identity;)))

yeees...maybe next year it will be France or Spain...Big4 countries want to get back ESC to themselves. Sooo good luck again. I think next year from Armenia will apply Emmy & Mihran. And from my country another good song
Reply from Tigren:
yea, western European politics dominated this year, and eastern block was not able to to do much, cuz so many of eastern european songs qualified! But next year, I actually think it's going to be either Sofi Mxeyan from Armenia or Lucina who'se been working with Wyclaf Jean and Sony records they're both good check em out if you have time..I'd like to see Maryam represent Azerbaijan she has a nice voice!

Hello!!! Sooo the next ESC is finished. I'm really dissapointed with results. I expected Israel, Armenia,Denmark,Turkey to be fight for the first place...but Germany...Lena....I hate her song...Very & very pity...Politics of Western Europe won again...
Reply from Tigren:
yes, same here! However, I am very proud of the fact that all three countries of Caucasus ended up in the top 10...that's a big accomplishment itself...Let's just wait and see next year! But Turkey did get the second place so it's good enough for them! however I didn't expect Romania to be in top 3 and Germany yes....well Germany paid for this eurovision, so they can pay for the next one too I guess!

Yes, I can understand you. I really don't like to bring political issues to Eurovision topics. I just like to talk about the singer and song. I really like "Apricot Stone". And I'm sure it will be in Top 5 with Safura's "Drip Drop"
Reply from Tigren:
same here, but sometimes I feel like, I have to sit down and explain to some people that wut they think is "truth" is not universal, there is another side to the issue that they are ignoring. And it ends up in a fight. I really respect the fact that Azerbaijan spends all that money to prepare each year for eurovision. And Safura is a likable girl, with a nice voice, but I wish some of the lyrics would have been changed to make the song better. Thanks for liking Apricot stone.

Everything is alright. I'm kind of pity because of some agressive posts you made at Azerbaijanian's topics. I can't judge you. But I hope you'll change your mind one day.
Reply from Tigren:
Well my "agressive posts' are not forwarded to you. They are for those who insult my nation, and therefore me. Really, you're a nice person, and I appreciate the fact that you leave politics aside, because you understand that I as a common person do not hate you. But I will change my opinion about Azeri media if they stop with their yellow journalism, and hatred towards Armenia;))

Reply from Tigren:
I didn't say cat crying I said cat screaming...and as bad armenia's lyrics were in 09 even worse were Azerbaijan's in 08 but you know what I really don't wanna argue with you. I have nothing against you and ur people...just hate your government for brainwashing your people. So, let's just stay friends and enjoy eurovision

There is not any this information in Azerbaijan!May be İzzy Gold will not go!Arash helped us only this year!Samir and Elnur was azeri last year.We showed our song.Song showed our culture.Mugam, music and ect.We were the 8th.
Reply from Tigren:
yeah...Samir and Elnur's song was definately one of the most "unique songs"...the cat screaming, mixing rock and opera vawes definately showed the Azerbaijani culture except I didn't catch the mugham part. I don't think Azerbaijan has showed their culture fully yet in eurovision. At least not as much as Armenia has

Reply from Tigren:
why won't you enlighten us and show us your culture? I think Azerbaijan is scared to get embarassed. We showed OUR culture and came out with dignity...your culture has been shown several times by Turkey so its ok we'll just wait to hear the Izzy Gold American production next year...oh wait..there might not be next year for you

No!!!!!!!!!!We know!Everybody say in Azerbaijan:It isn't correct.But
Our Officials did not do nothing to 43 people. They asked reason. One of them:"I don't love Arash".One of:"Song was azeri song".One of:"Song was our Nakhchivani" .And etc.Your song of this year plagiat was.You do not say why this?It is Tofig Guliyev's song -"Nakhchivani"!
Reply from Tigren:
yeah questioning people for voting at a eurovision song contest is the most redicioulous thing your country can do and there is no denial that Azerbaijan is one of the most corrupt, anti-human rights, dynasties in the world which is sad because the only way your country is united right now is through common hatred towards Armenians. And Armenia's song this year was no plaigarims bc if it was EBU would not allow it to enter. It's just stupid Azeri provoke to Armenians..but its ok now the whole Europe knows what "the land of fire" really is

Lenin put armenians Karabakh at that time.
We were respecting to armenians. But you drove out all azeris at the 1988 fromArmenia. You occupied Karabakh from 1990.
And sorry!I don't liked yours blog-Boycott Azerbaijan!!!Last year also Belarus gived 10 points us.
Reply from Tigren:
Gunay as I said I will not continue arguing about Karabak issue..but I am not the only one who is boycotting Azerbaijan...pretty soon your country might be banned from eurovision for questioning and threatning those 43 people who voted for Armenia...so you have more global issues to worry about like democracy and freedom of speech

Reply from Tigren:
yeah, you're totally right...there were a lot of azerbaijanis in Armenia too, my best friends' parents were from Azerbaijan but of course he only spoke Armenian he didn't know azerbaijani. You're right politics makes it very dirty that's why I hate it. People need to get over it and just like Armenia rewarded 1 point to Azerbaijan we should follow that and give more points to each other. After all, we are neighbor countries and our songs have sooo much similarities.

Azerbaijanias never speak like that..
Reply from Tigren:
well from Biblical stand point as it is proven that Ark of Noah landed on mount Ararat from there the nations started being created so the spread of the world is from the point where right now (Turkey and Armenian border is) but no that's absolutely not true we can never say that the whole world started from Armenia but Armenia is older than all the countries in Caucasus and there is no doubt about that

Dear Tigran! you said that SOAD are interested in politics of Armenia...Ok..but look then, you are Armenia & as I see you live in USA but you are interested in your country and its awards as well...so whats the problem with Arash who is Azerbaijani in origin but doesn;t live in Azerbaijan??? Remember that we were represented by not-famous as you say people in 2008 but got the 8th place. My respect you personally. I don't like political discussions at all. This world was created not by politics...but i want to ask you not to say unfair things about Azerbaijani achivements in Esc...and thanks for congratulations of 1 point. Azerbaijan also sent to you 45 votes but it wasn't enough to show in the scoreboard...
Reply from Tigren:
I didn't mention Arash in my comment....and I didn't say disrespectful things about anyone. But since you propse it let me tell you everyone knows Arash as a Persian Swedish singer his great grandfather had an azeri ancestors blah blah...of course in all honestly Ictima TV hired him so that Azerbaijan can earn a good position, but I am not going to go there as I said there are a lot of countries who hire famous people to represent them and its sad because it shows that those countries only care about placing. How bout Azerbaijan shows its culture next year in eurovision. Every year Armenia has brought out music with Armenian instruments and has gone as far as to show our culture on stage and every year Azeris have made provocative comments saying they stole it from us...I would really want to see Azerbaijan representing its culture on stage.

Although I didn't like the song that much I think that the seventh place was not that good for an artist like Sakis. I know about your genocide, I've read some articles about it. Well, such an issue was created between Turks and the Pontians-the Greeks of the Black Sea. The victims of the massacre were 353.000 out of 697.000 inhabitants. Ok, it cannot be compared with your victims, who were over 1 million I think.
Reply from Tigren:
Yes I was disappointed with Sakis' scoring but I was more disappointed that Greece didn't reward anything to Armenia. Anyway, I don't like mixing politics and music. I am glad that Armenia still made it to the top 10 even though the girls desereved a higher place and I am glad that Estonia and Iceland scored high.

Hey, how are you? I don't like to interfere in your conversation but I read the conversation below cause I found it interesting. I've also heard that Turks derive from Mongolians-perhaps it's wrong, I'm not that sure. And as far as the musical instruments are concerned we have the same ones in Greece but we call them ''zournas'' and ''daouli''. Why don't you try to fix your relationships with Turkey? We, Armenians and Greeks, have the same historical fate with Turkey but we can be friends. Sorry again...
Reply from Tigren:
oh I'm good thanks how are you? how do you feel about Greece's score? well yeah Armenia and Greece are very old around east europe so it is only logical to think that the instruments created that long can belong to either Armenia or greece. either way, Armenia is trying to resolve the issue with turkey but the 1915 genocide is hard to forgive.

Congratulations Armenia.I hate hating each other because of history.I wrote all those knowledges. But it passed over my aim.I was just talking about that we got good music before Anatolia. And we didn't came to anatolia as Barbarian Hordes.
If we return to music(yes,we must:)) Zurna and Davul are our common instruments. There is nothing belonging to just one nation in Southeast of Europe. And yes, nations must protect their culture as their lives.
Excuse me for History Subject.

Hey I didn't mean Armenia has nothing. You are running to history and politica.Believe me,I also got good knowledge.
First of all mongolia is just a place of Barbarian hordes of easter asia it is not our motherland. We captured Anatolia from BYZANTION Empire! We never took anything from Armenians. But before we capture it,we were already living in anatolia as a minority in Byzantion Empire. We got a history of 11 thousand years.7 thousand Barbarian,4 Thousand Civilisation! Our nation was not born in Anatolia! We were having a lot of great Turkish States before anatolia.Like Khun,Kokturk,Hazar,Babur,Uygur etc.
Have you ever thought about that Chinggis Khan came europe killed everyone and his people couldn't stand against Europe(Contents Turk-Islam) culture.Because they were barbarian. There was no way for them to stay here. But Turks have come, stand and created a really great(You can not deny this.) empire named Ottoman. How could this happen? And Turks didn't kill everyone they are seeing.Just because you are still alive.
Arabics still couldn't be a real nation.Because their culture is not enough for this. How could Islam grove up and made every kind of Science in 11th century? With these Arabics?80 percent of Scientist of Islam were having Turkish background.
And do you know there is just two kinds of classical music in all world?Europian Classical Music and Turkish Classical Music!
Finally I'm wishing to tell that We were already happened in world and Europe history before Malazgirt! These knowledges are not the words of an angry young nationalist. These are the words of historians(one is ordinarius proffessor).
Noone can explain Turkish architecture, music, language, literature, military etc. with only arabic, byzantion effects.Arabs were living in tents or square sandmade houses those times. There is byzantion effect in our culture but all other stuff are belonging to us.
My home city were an Armenian city two thousand years ago.But there is hundreds of thousands Roman,Byzantion,Arabic,Turkish,Grek historical buildings no Armenian!
I didn't want to talk as nationalist as this. But you meant we learnt everything from Armenians and were barbarian before Anatolia.I couldn't stop myself...
note:Seljuks were from South of Middle Asia (Turkmenistan of today.)if you wanna learn. Not from mongolia. We didn't have any crusade.Seljuks didn't left their motherland for persia, just got their empire bigger than past.It was a natural capture.

Look...history is written by those who won it. In your own land right now there are thousands of half destroyed Armenian churches. I have no desire to argue about politics and history here, because history is analyzed differently. But one thing I agree with you is that Ottoman settlers were very strong. Yes, it is true but when Ottomans came to settle in Asia minor that's when they started their civilized history. Our countries have been bitter neighbors for thousands of years and both have a lot of influences from each other. So, whoever created whatever musical instrument is hard to tell..but we use it, you use it and whatever Armenia consideres its tradition does not mean Turkey cannot consider traditional. All I was saying is that our representatives were showing our culture on stage. They were dressed as ancient armenian queens and they were marvelous. BTW congradulations for making the finals

You talked about Armenia so I've to tell stg. Both songs qele qele and jan jan are containing "Zurna" and Drums of Anatolia.I know Armenians are also from east Anatolia but your songs are our "Halay" songs.Isn't this exaggerated?Armenia is just talking about national stuff everywhere. But they are not accepting that it is also our national culture.Greece have same culture with west anatolia. They've already accepted that. There is no need to be so conservative.Today with the help of Genetic Science we know,we are really first degree relatives of Greks,Romans,Armenians and Kurds.(Not talking about Azeris because they are not just relatives they are Turkish.)Finally so we can't think any culture of Anatolia different than other one. There is no need to be so conservative...
Reply from Tigren:
ok..I didn't mean to bring politics here but I am a history major and Turkey arrived into Asia minor only in 11th century. They won Armenia in Merzikert in 1050 and then moved to Anatolia. Wayyy before that Armenia was already a civilized nation and had musical instruments. There is absolutely no way anyone can tell who came up with Zurna or dhol first..but Armenia and Anatolia have longer history so it is simply natural to believe that they had all these stuff down first. And secondly, I am not being conservative...I just stated that every country should bring something of their own culture into eurovision. And also, the only reason that Turks are first degree relatives to us is because you mixed with greeks, Armenians and romanians. I mean you can't deny that ur ancestors are Seljuks from Mongolia and only thanks to your crusades you were able to settle in asia minor.

Really.Happy to hear that you love song. There is a lot of great songs in eurovision history. An there is a lot of disqustingly bad songs.I hope you never hear bad songs. They are really so so so bad...:)))so be careful
Reply from Tigren:
lol..tastes differ...but I only want to remember the songs that are good...so far I gotta say that Turkey has had a pretty impressive eurovision history except in 2005...and so has Greece, Ukraine and Armenia. I also think orginiality is very important to give a piece of ur culture to ur audience. I am proud that my country has done that perfectly this year.

I think they do. But most of them think Sirusho was better. And I don't think they'll be as successful as she was, Though I myself like Jan Jan more than Qele Qele.
Reply from Tigren:
yeah I thought soo too of course qele qele was a major hit in Europe itself...but Jan Jan is more armenian nonetheless I hope our girls get a good position. Let's hope juries will like them

About Delos? I know that there was sent the contribution that the alliances of Athens were forced to pay for the city of Athens-with these money Acropolis was built, it's a common secret. I think that it's unhabited and they say that it is an electromagnetic field an a special energy.
Reply from Tigren:
oh I see...hmm did you see Greece's rehersal today? Sakis sang really good...but the cheography could have been better but hey another top 10 for Greece

Well, I think that you should visit Delos. It's in the south of Myconos and the ancient Greeks used to worship god Apollo there.
