We are the losers of eurovision :))
OK SO I WAS WRONG! nobody got Estonias act - but i love the fact that Ireland did not go through with their cheap puppet trick neither :)
The biggest surprise to pass to the final from the first semifinal was for me Poland,
Apart from the rumors that she used to be a man and her plastic sergeant has stitched her boobs on her belly - she is boring!
All the other songs that qualified I was ok with.
I was extremely surprised that one of the cheesiest songs ever -Georgia passed from the second semifinal - i mean come on - little blind girl singing that peace will come - how much more cheesy can You get. But surprising thing is that although this "blind performer" act has been unsuccessfully tried already many previous times - this time it actually worked.
I am extremely happy about the fact that this voting system has against all odds brought to the final all Nordic countries starting from Iceland, ending with Latvia - the only Nordic country who did not qualify was Estonia (and Lithuania but i guess Lithuania is not that Nordic anyway). Before the semifinals there was quite a lot fuss about that this voting system would leave all Nordic countries from now on behind the closed door of big final..
There is a new rule this year about voting - that the top-9 contestants chosen by the televoters qualify for the Final. The highest ranked contestant from the back-up jury results who did not yet qualify through the televoting, also qualifies for the Final. So people are now gossiping about which was the song - I think it had to be Portugal.
But overall the final is the strongest final ever! It is impossible to pick a winner! The songs are all great and enjoyable.
I am extremely confused for which country to vote for. But whoever the winner will be - I am happy to be a part of smth as great as Eurovision this year - this is the greatest show ever.
I cheer for almost all countries and will be happy for whoever wins!
The saddest thing is that it all ends tonight - and I hate the fact that tomorrow there will be no excitement anymore and the long, endless year of waiting for Eurovision will start again.
