It came as it was predicted. If every year comes additional a former Soviet or Yugoslavian Republic the Song Contest will be held in future somewhere between Podgorica and Tiflis. Russia got almost 100 point from maximal 108 (resp. 70 point for the Ukraine) and Serbia 56 point from maximal 60 (with rest almost divided between Bosnia and Croatia). Same for the Scandinavian states.
I didn't like the song of Dima Bilan because it consisted from two or three other song that I already know (from "Killing me softly" to "Uh, Baby it's a Wild World"). Although I like the violin part, the whole presentation was not passionate, but pathetic and high exaggerated.
That's why I prefer the Ukrainian or Greek songs which were not new either, but still not recognizable. The acts and the stage presentations very well planned and not like Dimas falsely spontaneous.
Unfortunately the marvelous Israeli and touching Albanian voices were too low in the end scoreboard.
The so-called Big4 should reconsider if they prefer same rules for everyone and compete with the others or just being always in Final and play a secondary role by ending in the last positions. If they compete in the Semi-Finals then they have the chance to show more of their candidates and be less "hated" for being treated specially.
And next year will we welcome Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Chechnya (although the last one is already "solved") or Scotland, Wales and North Ireland? Or maybe Grönland?
