Armenians in Baku! I don't even know what that means, no one knows what it means, but it's provocative... Gets the people going! :-)
Armenia has submitted an application to participate in the 2012 Eurovision International Song Contest set to take place in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The head of Armenia’s delegation to Eurovision, Gohar Gasparyan, told that the names of all the 43 participant countries have been represented on the Eurovision official website.
“This is an ordinary process. Being members of the European family, we too have applied [for the contest],” she said.
Asked whether Baku has ensured security guarantees, Gasparyan refrained from giving any comment. She said only that they will issue a statement detailing whether submitting an application implies participation.
