Well, what a night! It was strange and dizzying for me to be there in the arena. This year I've done 2 of my all-time dreams: Monaco Grand Prix and Eurovision. The fact that I got to do Eurovision in my birthplace is amazing. I am so glad for Germany, it gives me an excuse to go to one of the most beautiful countries next year! Yes, I will be there. Andre & Paul, get the beer chilling now! They are my friends in Berlin, but maybe Eurovision will come from Hamburg, or even Munich in 2011?
After the contest we all ended up in the coolest club, and got awfully drunk! Mor and Da went home, they don't really do clubbing anymore, and were not impressed when we crawled in at about 4am! We were drinking some very dodgy cocktails, and even now, at a quarter past 2pm, we are all still hung-over!
So, all in all, it has been a fantastic Euro-week! Our party starts to de-camp tomorrow, our Dutch friends going back to Holland, then Dani & Ade flying out later that night. Jamie and I are here till Wednesday, when we have to say goodbye to beautiful Oslo. But hey, we don't have to say goodnight just yet. We're all going to Cafe Beirut tonight!
A perfect end to the weekend.
