She is only 17 years old but her spirit is strong and she is committed enough to succeed. Safura is already a winner - for now in the Azerbaijani national selection for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest. She was born September 20th 1992.

The participation in Eurovision 2010 is a dream comes true for her. For now it is a main purpose of her life. Safura is used to be an achiever since childhood. So she won’t give up her dream no matter what. The main European stage is waiting for her along with the greatest chance of a lifetime as starting point in her singing career.

Safura is working very hard and learning new things every single day. She is singing and dancing. She is learning and creating. She is dreaming and hoping for her words to be heard. She is dedicating all her free time between rehearsals to fashion. Her favorite designers are Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, Jan Pol Gaultier and Mark Jacobs.

Safura is a huge fan of a Twilight saga. She read all Stefany Mayers’ books. She is following all the news from the movie set of this modern story of Romeo and Juliet as well as actors personal life. She adores Robert Pattison who is playing the handsome vampire Edward. Maybe Safura is singing about him? Go figure!
