May 14: Letzten Tag im Paradies

Good evening everyone! I'm sorry for the late update, but I've been spending most of the day recovering from last nights after show party, and traveling back home to Stockholm, so this update is from my kitchen table.

First of all.......... I can't believe that I'm saying this.......... CONGRATULATIONS FINLAND! For their gold in Ice Hockey that is........... At least we beat you in MUSIC this weekend! HA!

This has been a great joy ride, and I had SO MUCH FUN working with NDR and Brainpool! You are all ROCK STARS, and I hope that I get a chance to work with you again, within soon! Thanks for including me in this!


Before we go into details about last night broadcast, there is ONE more person that I need to introduce to you all!

We all knew it was just a matter of time before Azerbaijan would win this, and that time came last night!
CONGRATULATIONS Ell & Nikki! And a special thanks to the Azerbaijan delegation that trusted us in what we were doing all along. Not that many people know, but I did the first local song contest in Baku in 2008, when Elnur and Samir won, and I was a proud member of the Azerbaijan Delegation in Belgrade that same year. I trust you guys still have my phone number...... :-)


Lunatx surprised everyone with their confetti fro the winner last night. It looked AWESOME!


But no one was as surprised as the Spider Cam guys!!!!
