My name's Peter Sedan as you may already noticed, I'm a fan o Eurovision Song Contest as you can see (otherwise I wouldn't be here). Can you imagine the Eurovision Song Contest in Portugal? If you're not portuguese, you don't! That's because you don't have any idea how we, portugueses, are friendly and the beauty of our country. I However that will always be a dream unless you VOTE for Portugal! Yesterday the deadline was reached and with it begins all the preparation for the upcoming Festival da Canção 09 .
It looks like Vânia Fernandes brought to Portugal the Eurovision spirit again and more and more famous portuguese singers wish to take part in the national selection and wish to bring the first ever victory for Portugal in the Contest.
Some artists revealed very excited with their participation and all wish to do even better than Vânia Fernandes in Moscow.
Actually there are some Eurovision veterans between the names such as Nucha who represented Portugal in ESC 1990 in the old Yugoslavia and there are also rumors that the talented beautiful Luciana Abreu who has part of 2B represented Portugal in ESC 2005 in Kiev, Ukraine.
Later in 19th January the 24 finalists will be revealed and I'll keep you inform about portuguese national final.
