Hi Ross, how are you? :-)) Thanks for your reply.
Good luck with the single: sounds thrilling! :D Look forward to seeing you on that ESC stage next year. For the UK, it's Ross Kent and his Tasmanian Devils...

I think the UK going 1st is suicide and we'll be forgotten quickly afterwards. I hope the juries look kindly on us and there will be some viewers who like that sort of thing, so who knows...? Trying to stay optimistic... :) Hope you enjoy the SBS presentation as always. They should interview you as an expert... :))

I would have preferred Jedward to throw their underwear, lol. ;) In the 1st semi, I'd like Montenegro, Iceland, Albania, Romania, Switzerland, Hungary, Moldova and Ireland to qualify. What about you? Hope you manage your news blackout successfully.

A computing career sounds really interesting. Good luck with it! :)) What do you think about the quality of Big Brother UK now...do you think it's gone downhill? Did you see the Irish twins on the Celebrity version? So you are a megablogga... :))

OK, enjoy it all and may the best song win! :D Take care.

Hi Ross, hope you're well. :-)) Thanks for your reply.
Glad you had a choccy Easter. ;)

The album sounds intriguing... :) I see you have many talents... The UK needs a good dance song, so please represent us! :D I could be your backing dancer. But I can't dance though, lol... :P Is that ok...? ;)

The UK doesn't have a good track record in recent years, you're right... I wanted even higher for Blue but at least we weren't last again, hehe... :)

Good luck with avoiding hearing the result before you've seen the final. How do you find the Australian commentators? Could you imagine Australia entering? Maybe that would be your moment...

I was lucky enough to go to ESC in Concert in Amsterdam and it was fabulous! :D 20 out of 23 countries sang live (except Greece, Romania and San Marino). However, Romania put on the best stage show. All the live singers sounded great to me, and Spain and Albania were sensational! :)) Jedward threw their shoes into the audience, but I didn't catch one...

So what will you do after college? Would you like to work in music full-time...? OK, enjoy the ESC countdown...17 little days...! Take care for now. :))

    Hiya!

The album should be great once I get everything sorted, single popping in the next few weeks though. Oh How I'd LOVE too. :P Neither can I so perhaps that'd work.. ;)

Yeah, Blue did well for the UK I'll be interested to see how the ballad this year does. How do you think it'll do? I Love our commentaors on SBS They're really really good, SBS always provide great ESC Coverage (I'd Love to be a part of it one year... I'm dreaming lol) I think that'd be great, if only we were classed as part of the EBU. Oh now that would be fun...

Ooh, Lucky you! Trust jedward to go mad... :P After college I plan to follow something in the computing area. SInging/music is a hobby. Also hoping I can get some blogging/writing work on the Side. I used to write about Big Brother UK on a weekly basis for a site, have done for the past 3 years.

I Know I'm so excited! Plan to update this blog more frequently over the time and I'll be tweeting like mad on the nights! 12 days! SO close!

    take care! R :D

Hi Ross, how are you? I'm great too, thank you! :-)) Thanks for your reply.
Hope you had a great day on Saturday and celebrated well! :D

I hope you will get a chance to come to Europe and see ESC live before long! :))
Do you study anything interesting at college? Do you sing or play instruments on your album? Sounds exciting! Actually, maybe you can perform in ESC... :))) You just have to decide which song style and for which country...

I agree with your faves this year. Good choices! I also like Switzerland, Iceland, Spain, Lithuania, Bosnia and Montenegro. I fear last place for the UK again. Most fans seem to like Sweden too, so she must be in with a good chance. Will you have a news blackout on final day? ;) Are you expecting a visit from the Easter bunny? Take care for now. :))

    Reply from Ross:

I'm Great thanks! I did, nice small gathering :) Mostly singing and keyboard on the album, drum machine in use too :)

Ooh... I'd defiantly do a dance song, probably for the UK or Sweden or perhaps France... The UK doesn't have a great track record does it? :( Blue did well last year however! Sweden looks very popular so time will tell. I Most certainly will be having a news blackout. It frustrates me to no end when the news broadcasts the winner before the final.

I got a lovely haul of chocolate so I'm happy ;)

Hi Ross, hope you're well. :-)) Thanks for your reply.
I was lucky enough to be in the arena live in Dusseldorf and Dana International got the loudest reception in her semi and did a lap of honour. Eric was slick and well-polished. Denmark were great too.

I wanted Bosnia to win, but thought France would. I was happy for Italy, Ireland and Germany. Sad for Lithuania, Hungary, Slovenia and Iceland. Wanted higher for the UK but at least we weren't last again, lol. ;) Is it frustrating not being able to vote?

What do you get up to in Hobart? I bet it's a lot warmer now than snowy London... I wonder what you make of the songs chosen so far this year... Feel free to email me or add me on MSN, Yahoo! or Skype. Take care for now. :))

Hiya, I'm doing well thanks! Yourself? I must say I'm rather jealous of you getting to see last years' contest live that would have been Amazing!

I Spend most of my time studying at college and my spare time writing blogs, working on my album and listening to my overly large music collection! It can be but beleive you me it can get freezing here too! Check out my latest blog for my thoughts so far ;-) I'm itching for the contest now!
