Eurovision Done and Dusted for Yet Another Year!

I have not had the usual time to get really into the contest this year as I have done in previous years, but I did manage to watch almost all of the final on Saturday, and I had recorded the two semi-finals for reference purposes if needed!

I enjoyed the show on Saturday but somehow felt that there were not so many songs which stood out like they did last year for me. I quite liked the Spanish song, but that didn't do so well!.....The French guy looked really gorgeous, but his operatic song just didn't seem to do it for me really. The guys with the pointy hats made me smile!......Blue were okay, but I didn't think it was ever going to be a winning song for the UK to be honest. Jedward were better than I thought they would be, and they did their best and certainly enjoyed themselves from what I saw on the show, good for them I say, and I hope that the exposure to such a huge worldwide audience benefits them in the future.

So that is it!....all over until next year of course, I did like the winning song from Azerbaijan, but I didn't realise that it was so popular!.....hope you all enjoyed the contest and also hope you are all well and happy.....best wishes to all of my friends!
