Thanks for the Email. Will reply eventually. Things have been hectic lately. I've had about 8 weeks off work with a broken wrist. Resumed work three weeks ago, but the wrist is still not feeling 100%. My PC is now working better than it has done for a while. I am now able to video call my son in Queensland as Sue has got a laptop now and it's set up with skype and even my Windows Messenger is back working again.

I've managed to listen to a few Eurovision hopefuls and so far Estonia has impressed me. Unfortunately, attending this years is a no no again. Got to save up for NZ and Oz. Graeme & Liz want to show us where they used to live. Anyway, I'll be in touch shortly.

    Hi Ian and Glenda,
Finally got the Steam driven PC cranked up and roaring. I've got a man coming to sort my problems out (Hopefully !!!). So, if I suddenly stop mid-sentence, it's because my PC's packed in again.

    Where to start ?

Firstly, the Triple Rockwiz DVD. IT'S FANTASTIC !!!!! I can't stop watching it.
Thanks a million, mate. I've fallen in love with Martha Wainwright and Deborah Conway.
I've done some research on Martha and it's little wonder that I like her. She's only the daughter of my favourite 1970's artist - LOUDEN WAINWRIGHT III.
I'm hoping to go see her in London in June/July. She's performing with her brother Rufus.

Secondly, the Rockwiz Tour DVD just blew me away. The added bonus of the CD means I can listen to Rockwiz artists, while driving my wagon at work.

    Once again Thanks.

Question. Is Rockwiz back at the Hotel Esplanade, or are they still on tour ?

Another Question. Is Martha returning to Australia in May this year ? If it doesn't clash with my Farm Stay, I'd love to see her perform live (preferably at the Esplanade Hotel)

Finally, Sue and I would like to wish you both a Happy and prosperous New Year, and we hope to find time to visit you in your part of Aus.

Well Hi Mick - and Sue!
Glad you like the DVD's - and I know how hard it is to stop playing them. The music is world class - and I like them - maybe no.2 the best. So Sue still lives in the house then - you haven't driven her out by playing them a lot! lol
And yes - Rockwiz are still touring - in fact they are in Adelaide again in March - but I cant go, because I am working that night and have no way out of it. Pity really! :-(
The live shows are good as you have seen. They are really entertaining. Enjoy bopping to the CD in the van - haha - hope you dont have an accident!
And Martha is here next month! I think she has three performances in the eastern states - including Queensland. I haven't heard if they are recording any Rockwiz shows - I am on the mailing list - but it is still hard to get a ticket. There are a few new shows coming up next month too. I have recorded some and will copy them for you too - I am sure you will like them too!
Did your son escape the floods. Amazing scenes up there. I have a friend at Toowoomba and she wouldnt go out of the house in case she couldnt get back. It will be interesting how much is cleaned up before you get here.
And - I am coming back for 8 weeks in June/July and early August. I arrive on June 5 - I think. I hope to work there - but I cant make any plans until I either I find I have a job - or I will have to arrive - find some temporary accommodation and tour around and wait to hear about a locum position somewhere. I'm looking forward to it. I will call in and see you at some stage - depending on what happens.
We had a quiet New Year - I had to work on both the night (New Year's Eve) and the day too!
Well - I'll see you soon - one way or the other! Keep on Rockwizzing!

Ian, it's good to hear you met Mick again. You're obviously a man on a mission, and that mission is TRAVELLING and the quest, mysterious. Sounds good so keep up the good work in the year to come. Happy New Year to you and all your dear ones! :)
