We now continue with a three-female round: Two of them are extremely similar europop songs from Bulgaria and Ukraine and then an astonishing balkan ballad from Slovenia.

UKRAINE
Gaitana - Be My Guest
And after some rock and fado we go down once again to europop. The Ukraine ran out of ideas by sending this Anastasia-wannabe meets RuPauls amateur. I honesty think it's one of the worst songs in the competition this year. It is an outdated gay disco number. So early 1990s that you might think it's a flashback. You see the glamorous fashion lights and sparks all over the air but the music is simply not there. However I'd have to admit that Gaitana has a strong voice but it works much better for a drag show rather than a song contest. I think it's going to have a hard time qualifying considering that the next entry is a very similar tune but with a wider international appeal.

BULGARIA
Sofi Marinova - Love Unlimited
And that's bring us down to Bulgaria... Yep, we changed the song but we're still in the disco. Bulgarian entries are always underrated but this one is being too overrated. It does have something that other eurodance songs don't have this year and it's singing "I love you" in several languages which match really good with its message "love has no borders" but that's about it. It has some better chances of qualifying than Ukraine because I think people will like this one better.

SLOVENIA
Eva Boto - Verjamem
First of all, let me congratule RTVSLO (the Slovenian broadcaster) for not taking away the soul of this song (its language), specially because of its graceful lyrics. I personally love the lyrics whom I feel identified with, I love the phrase "Verjamem da znova, ujela se bova/I believe we will meet again" that just blows my mind. The song is a poem. Some say that it's the best balkan ballad of the year to me it is the best song in this year's competition and also one of the greatest entries that has ever entered the contest. It is actually a good rendition to Molitva. Eva's voice is remarkable but lacks passion but she can improve it. In terms of composition, it should be the winner, it might even be the jury's winner, but then it might struggle with the televoting. However I wish Eva and Slovenia the best luck.
