* In symbiosis with my computer (Mac, of course) What this story tells about my professional life: I'm a systems administrator and a university teacher at Uppsala University. My subject area is Interactive Multimedia. I''m specially interested in interactive storytelling. I just love programming multimedia I'm also interested in studying how people express themselves, communicate and interact using digital media/multimedia. What this story tells about my private life: I love music, all kind of music that has a heart: classical, pop, rock, electronic, world, ethno-techno... I play the didgeridoo although women are not allowed to play this instrument according to the tradition of the Aboriginal people of Australia. But I was lucky enough having the opportunity to take lessons "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and life to everything." ~ Plato ~ I also love dancing, I have been trying out many different styles, I have taken classes in flamenco (thank you, Carmen Lucena!) and in the classical Indian dance Bharatanatyam (thank you, Lilavati!) as "Dancing can reveal all the mystery that music conceals." ~Charles Baudelaire This story of myself has more to tell but it is like one of those japanese puzzle boxes, there are secret compartments and you must know the key if you want to open them and look what's inside.... Personally, I only care about the song, the dances and the looks of people and everything else would count perhaps 5% in my view. A beautiful voice does not help much if the song sucks. I'd rather have a moderate voice and a good melody, but I prefer the perfect mix, of course:)
Yes, I have read your blogs and agree to some extent (I wasn't really fond of the Irish) :D.

About the lights and effects.. I was aware that they used quite a lot, but it didn't bother me in any way and... don't have an opinion about it:)

I didn't have so much time to elaborate my point of view, that's why I didn't write so much about the songs.I hope that you find that I have expressed more of my opinions about some of the songs in my recent blog posts.
I disliked the lights and effects because they caused a visual overload that distracted med from focusing on the music. Another point is that flickering lights can in the worst cast trigger an epileptic seizure in people.

Hey, wasn't everyone having a nickname a couple of years ago? Nowdays people seem to go by their real names. Well, not much of a difference in the end.

And what do you think about my opinions?Yes, when I registered as a member we had to go by nicknames, but that was changed last year. I don't know why, it doesn't matter to me anyway.
