Glen’s First Rehearsal on stage

The Maltese Delegation left the hotel very early this morning as it was Glen’s turn to debut on stage. This was the first technical rehearsal for Malta in the arena.

Glen is joined on stage by three female backing vocals, Pamela, Angela and Isabelle and two male dancers, Sandro and Simon. Similar to the Maltese final, the girls performed on three single plinths. Their voices sang in great harmony.

The dance routine has been improved drastically and Glen is seen to participate in the routine at several points in time. Glen and the rest of the performers wore special outfits that are similar to the costumes that are prepared for the first semi-final which will take place on Tuesday 10th May 2011.

During the whole performance a very colourful LED backdrop is used. It reflects the same energy of the video. Glen looked very confident and happy. On stage, the lights are buzzing and the sound is extremely good. In between rehearsals one could hear Glen talking in Maltese to his counterparts whereby he expressed his overall satisfaction.
