Final thoughts on Semi Final 2 (2012)

The second semi final ended yesterday, and while we're all still trying to recover from the festival, here's what I think about it.

6 countries that I'm happy they got qualified: Macedonia, Malta, Ukraine, Sweden, Turkey, and Norway

Kaliopi brought the house down literally, while Ukraine's 100% track record goes strong. Sweden qualified as expected. Turkey and Norway were sure qualifiers. I don't understand why people say Malta shouldn't be in the final. They totally deserve it.

4 countries that I'm not happy they got qualified: Serbia, Estonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Lithuania

Really, Europe. If they were competing with the US in some online song contest, none of them will qualify.

5 countries that I'm happy they didn't get qualified: Netherlands, Belarus, Slovenia, Croatia, and Slovakia

Especially Slovenia. Thank freaking god. Everyone wanted to switch Malta for Slovenia. That's not gonna happen.

3 countries that I'm not happy they didn't get qualified: Portugal, Bulgaria, and Georgia

Why Portugal? The song was so beautiful. And I'm sad about Georgia too, but I acknowledge it is their turn to miss it
