Hi Steve, how are you? :-)) What did you think of ESC live? :D Couldn't see your Union Jack shirt, sorry... :( I loved the winner & agreed basically with the top 10. Sad for Switzerland & Sweden, but thrilled for Belgium (at long last!), Cyprus & Ireland. Poor Josh didn't deserve his fate. Did you have time to do anything else in Oslo? Feel free to add me on MSN, Yahoo! or Skype. Take care for now.

Hi Steve, hope you're good. :-)) Thanks for your reply. I'm excited for some reason, haha... So you're a Basildon boy, huh...? I'm sure Josh will give a confident show & my fingers & legs are crossed. You'll have a great view of the stage! No Union Jack shirt, but I will wave my glow stick vigorously... I'll be in the Thon Hotel Munch from tomorrow till next Sunday. Email me if you'd like to do coffee before the final. Enjoy it all!! :D
Reply from Steven:
Hey Robin, I'm good thank you :) and yeah Basildon forever! haha and Yes looking at his rehearsal it seems much more dynamic and entertaining than the other performances so I think we could stand a better chance than say 2 months ago. Yes haha if Sweden make it into the final we should all have red glow sticks because SVT ordered 35,000 of them for us haha
And sure coffee sounds great if I can fit into my schedule haha we arrive on the Friday and leave on Sunday. We're only there for the final but it will still be amazing :)

Hi Steve, how are you? :-)) Thanks for your reply. For the final, I'll be in section 8, but the cameras won't come near me, I'm sure, lol. Will you wave something red, white & blue? Josh's new video sounds a lot better: can he sing like that live? 8 days & counting... Take care for now.
Reply from Steven:
Hey Robin. I'm good thanks yourself? and cool :) We will be on the tiered seating section E. And I will be wearing my Union Jack shirt haha how about you?
Yes he sounds just like the studio version in real life. He has a great voice and he's from the same place as me haha He's really nice and genuine in real life, just what we need to win over the hearts of Europe :) Speak soon.

Hi Steve, hope you're well. :-)) Got my ESC tickets in the mail at last today! Only 12 days left...how thrilling! Are you getting excited yet? :D Take care.
Reply from Steven:
Hey, that's good :) I received mine about a week ago and I know, I can't wait. I had to splash out an extra £160 on flight tickets just in case our ones get cancelled thanks to BA. Looks like I might be losing one plane ticket :( and Of course I'm excited, you can't ask someone like me that question and expect me to say No haha Speak soon, Steve

Hi Steve Spielberg, how are you? :-)) Thanks for your reply. Didn't get into YCNY: did you? I agreed with the choice of singer, but I find the song itself poor... :(( What do you think? Yes, Romania's great... Russia should've picked Dima rather than the bizarre song they did... Just love Germany: a breath of fresh air! I think they or Greece can win so far. Look forward to Israel. Take care for now.

Hi Steve, I'm well, thanks: and you? :-)) Thanks for your last reply. I've heard nothing about YCNY tickets: have you? So you're a film student...? How fab! Do you direct? Good luck & see you at the Oscars! :)) Spain is quaint for me, Belarus fun, Georgia sweet, Slovakia great & Latvia a missed opportunity. Love Romania too. What will Russia & Belgium give us, I wonder? And the good old UK?? The singers look young & inter-changeable, lol. Take care for now.
Reply from Steven:
Hi Robin,
No I haven't heard anything about YCNY yet? Hope I get the tickets haha and yes, I someday wish to be the next Steven Speilburg haha and Romania is my favourite song chosen so far. It's just very upbeat and fun haha. I will probably watch Russia tonight. The rumour of Dima Bilan entering was a bit of a lie haha being as he is not in the final line up aha Speak soon, Steve

Hi Steve, how's it going? :-)) Thanks again for your reply. Iceland is rousing & could do well. Did you apply for YCNY tickets? Hope to see you there if we're both lucky. Cash is always handy, but I try to work as part-time as possible, lol... What do you think of Spain, Belarus, Georgia, Slovakia & Latvia? Take care for now.
Reply from Steven:
Hey, I'm not too bad thanks yourself?
And yeah, I applied hopefully I'll be able to go. It would be awesome as well as I am a film student and this is what I hope to working as when I leave university. I didn't like Spain at first. I wanted Coral to win however it's growing on me. I think Belarus is better than people are criticizing, Georgia is a nice ballad, Slovakia I'm not sure will pass the semi-final, as well as Latvia. They aren't catchy enough. How about you? Take care

Hi Steve, hope you're well. :-)) Thanks for your reply. At least you'll be at the final, which is the most important event after all! Well done! Hope it's somewhere accessible next year... Denmark is interesting: they should keep that glass wall on stage. Didrik's song is very stirring & could go great guns...although I preferred Bjorn. Are you looking forward to YCNY on 12.3? So we'll vote on the last 3 singers performing Pete's song...fingers crossed for something good! So do you enjoy your job? Take care.
Reply from Steven:
Yeah, the final will be amazing :) and hopefully. I didn't really like Iceland when I first heard it but it's starting to grow on me now which is good :) Yes, I shall be trying to get tickets to YCNY when they are released, fingers crossed. Yeah it's not too bad. Get's me some extra cash while I'm at college and pays for my Eurovision trip aha how about you?

Hi Steve, how are you? :-)) Thanks for your prompt reply! Yes, I will be in Oslo for both semis & the final...& it's my first live one too! Pete was great with Kylie in the 80s & I just hope he can replicate his past success. Yes, the Olympics & ESC in London would be fab! Which songs this year do you like? Switzerland for me so far... Feel free to IM or email me. Take care.
Reply from Steven:
No problem, it's great talking to another Eurovision fan :) and I was going to go to the semi-finals but the pay at my job is crap while I'm in education so I could only afford the final :( However next year I plan on spending the week out where ever it is haha and I really like Denmark. It sounds like Starship - Nothing Gonna Stop Us Now. Swtizerland's not too bad. Hopefully they will eventually qualify for the final this year. I also like Norway's entry. To be fair, nearly all of the songs in Norway's national final I liked haha

Hi Steven, are you going to Oslo? I wonder what Pete Waterman can come up with...I'm strangely nervous! Take care.
Reply from Steven:
Hi Robin,
Yes, I'll be there. My first Eurovision live! :) I'm really excited and I really hope he comes up with something decent the Europeans will love. I think it's time we won by now. It would just be totally awesome if we won. Eurovision 2011 London, I can just see it now. However, it would be even more awesome if we hosted 2012. The olympics and Eurovision at the same time in the same city haha.
Are you going to Oslo?
Steve
