EPISODE 06 // YEREVAN
I have to say openly that I don’t find that this song is powerfull enough to make the final. Due to the fact that I love the lyrics, because they are from the pen of Kavelaryan. This entry doesn’t grows on me directly. The song includes little ethnical elements that will be received very well in the ears of Turkish esc fans and Turkish people in general, because these are elements that touches the courage and heart of each person living in Anatolia, Mesopotamia and the near beyond. It is .. I know that this song will make the final as usual, not mentioning the diaspora voting here coz it’s an other story to write about. I like all the 4 previous entries of this country, but not this Apricot Stone-one. The entry doesn’t say “ Look here I am “ – to me.
Note: I adore Kavelaryan as a songwriter. He is another Jean Jacques Goldman for me .. Love him !!
My points: 4,9 @ 12 points
