EPISODE 46 : Glitter & Glamour vs Simplicity

In 2003 when Sertab won the contest I had a wide feed-back with all my esc-friends all beyond Europe, we came to the conclusion that this victory produced the words "Sertabnification" & "Sertabnizm" .. It began with the mix of popular music with the sauce of ethnical influences and overskimmed with an oriental flavour ..

However in 2006 the boys of Lordi with their HRH (Hard Rock Halellujah) .. it became true that with a middled-rock entry you can conquer every corner of Europe. But these days .. there is not a single novelty about the fact which direction that the average musical taste of Europe will go to.

Will it be the simplicity (for example) of France, Iceland and Lithuania score more points/votes over the Glitter and Glamour of Russia, UK and Hungary togehter (for example) .. ?? Or will the mix of simplicity and glitter as in the entry of Azerbaijan overshadow all the other songs together??

How will the corners of Europe vote to the balanced blocs ? Will the faillure of Turkey and Armenia change the voting patterns of the diaspora abroad and last but not least when will eastern bloc will be democratic enough to vote for the quality of the song instead of the pure-neighbouring-thing ?!
