I'm in the mood for getting my Eurovision moans off my chest today, hence all the blogs!
I wanted to congratulate Hera Bjork for her contribution this year, despite the poor placing in the contest on Saturday. Iceland had a great song with all the right ingrediants for a perfect Eurosong. Hera Bjork was fantastic, an absolute star! She has a big following in the UK, everyone loves her and she could have a big hit with "Je Ne Sais Quoi" provided it gets the airplay it deserves. It certainly goes down well in the clubs. I visited Iceland in 2004 and it's one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen and the people so friendly. They would make the perfect hosts for Eurovision. I live for the day that Iceland are victorious and they get their chance to show Europe their fascinating country and warm, friendly charm. It is only a matter of time before Iceland win. They have a strong healthy music scene that is bursting with originality and talent. They will never be short for performers to enter the contest. Like Norway, I expected to see Iceland in the top 3, and like many people was dismayed by their final placing. Hera Bjork did Iceland proud, she couldn't have given a better performance on the night, it was flawless. Good luck to Hera Bjork with the single, album and future career x
