Nice to hear that you're following the Norwegian final. My 3 favourites this year were Vardlokk with Helene Bøksle, Haba Haba with Stella Mwangi and Ah Åh Ah Åh with Åste & Rikke. Further somehow I also liked The BlackSheeps, as an outsider :))
Myself I was in Gothenburg last weekend, present at the part final of Melodifestivalen. That was fun and a great experience as well.
I do not believe Sweden have found their winner, yet, but the still have 2 more part finals left before their main final in March. I'll be present there as well, in Stockholm :))
What do you think about Lena representing Germany, again..?
Reply from Christian:
Hey Kjell, first I thought that the defence of the titel was a joke by Stefan Raab... he's an famous entertainer in Germany and also the mentor of Lena. Everybody knows that he is a gambler and a comedian, so nobody believed that.
But one day after winning, there was an official official press conference, where the NDR declared, that this is true. Some people in Germany are annoyed by Lena, because she was in public for month before Eurovision. Meanwhile, I think that it is a funny idea, but she has no winning chances, although the songs in the semifinals were very good. I've bought the album and there are some jewels of songs. On friday, there is the german final on TV and I'm all on edge which song will win. My favorites are "Taken by a stranger" because it's a strange song, "Push forward" is a wonderful ballad and my close favorite is "A million and one", because it is a bewitching song, but too ambitious for a contest I think.
Greeings from Bochum,
Christian

Then again if you get the chance I'd really recommend you to go to the semi finals as well. So much fun!
I've been to Cologne once before, a couple of years ago. Liked it and I think it'll be very nice, again :))

Hey Kjell,I've heard just the songs for the norwegian finals and they are good. My favorites are Helene Boksle with Vardlockk (it's different from the other songs) and Stella Mwangi with Haba haba, because it is a catchy and sunny song. What's your favorite for Norway?

Yes I'll be present in Düsseldorf for the weekend of May 13th - 15th :))
This will be my second "live" ESC in a row as I went to the Oslo one aswell.
Will be staying in a hotel in Cologne though, then again this is quite close and convinient with train. You have tickets for all 3 shows or only the finale?
