In fact the Telenor Arena which is hosting this year's event is in Baerum and each of the 40 schools in Baerum has been assigned with a participating country. The school assigned with Malta is that of Hammerbakken.
The school has 104 students aged 6 - 10 years. The Maltese delegation was welcomed by the school headmaster Finn Johannsen and by Anne Lene Hojem , the Minister in the municipality of Baerum responsable for the education of children.
During the school event, the students gave a show by singing some songs while two other children made a presentation on computer on Malta in which they enphasised on our history, culture and turistic locations around our island
I performed her Eurovision entry My Dream, accompanied by the 'seagull' Jes Sciberras as well as my backing vocalists, Pamela, Nadine and Jacqueline.
Following my performance, I presented each student and the teachers with my Cd, t-shirts and postcards.
I also had an interview with the Finnish National TV and met also the Finnish contestants, the duo Kuunkuiskaajat. Later on in the evening I attended the reception at the Serbian Embassy.
This afternoon, I will be once again on stage of the Telenor Arena for my second rehearsals.
