Day One
Arrived via Vienna on a plane that must have been built sometime during the Cold War ......Just before take-off , an air hostess (who must have been born with the plane ) approached me and asked if she could read the safety instructions. Note she only asked us: we were sitting on the wing and in the evantuality of a crash, we would have had to open the door. From singer to hostess at the stroke of a card. The hostess kindly pointed out that if we were not physically fit to do so, we would have had to change our seats. So we spent the hour long flight planning escape strategies.
