About me
Since aged 7, back in Switzerland, I have been following this paneuropean camp-fest called the Eurovision Song Contest. My greatest moment was 1988 when Celine Dion won with: Ne partez pas sans moi.....

I'm actually surprised that so few people like the Swiss entry...
If Sweden would send exactly the same song, all the fans would love it. (hypocrites!)
I think the choice of language was a smart move. So was the choice of artist.
Michael is a good singer and performer.
It's a shame people judge him by his ears... Have you read the awful (and superficial comments on youtube?)
Anyway... I still don't know whether you like the song or not. (?)
I can see why you like the German song this year: you have Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse amoung your favourite singers... :-)
I like the song too and you're right: she is trying to do a British (even a cockney) accent with a glottal stop but sometimes she slips into American or Australian accent.
It's cute though...

It was wonderful show last years. There were many very good, wonderful songs. Hope, this year show won't be worse. Good luck to Josh, though I haven't heard his song yet, indeed I have heard nobody's song for Eurovision.

Reply from Oliver:
