Changes needed desperately!!!

Once again, it has been made clear that ESC is not a music contest any more, but a political contest.
We are a mixed couple, from Greece and Spain. We don't think the songs of our countries were the best ones. Our preferences went to Bosnia (very original, funny performance and a great catchy pop tune) and France (it was a privilege to have a great musician as Sebastian Tellier in Eurovision, I hope he does not regret it!), and so did our votes.
But our excitement soon faded away when the voting started. Sooooo boring and predictable. . Lots of neighbour/political/block (of all kinds: eastern ,balcan, scandinavian) voting. It was clear that the songs did not matter at all, just the country they came from.
It is obvious the voting system needs a deep change. In our opinion the final results would be fairer (although we realise it is not the perfect solution) if the votes of all Europe are collected and counted as a whole instead of doing it by countries (meaning that the song who gets more votes is the winner). And in case this measure looks uneffective, why not taking the voting out, and enjoy listening to songs from every country without winners and losers?
Some people have suggested the chance of the Big 4 of leaving the ESC. We admit that it would be a bit extreme, but if no chances are made, why do these countries have to pay for the eastern countries' party???
Just a couple of remarks to finish: it should be more carefully checked that the songs in the ESC are original, as someone has already appointed, the winning Dima Bilan song is clearly a copy of Cat Stevens' "Wild world". And the lack of originality in many of the performance is really worring. The three countries that followed Russia in the final scoreboard followed the same pattern (which we have already seen uncountable times in the last years): dance-pop song with a bit of ethnic touch sang by a gorgeous girl in a miniskirt. Come on, guys, doesn`t your imagination go any further?
