I'm also excited to see what Italy and San Marino will come up with. For me, it is a small disappointment that Italy will send a song out of Sanremo as that contest isn't exactly hot anymore... But fingers crossed. I hope for strong entries from both countries.

    Reply from Carlos:

But i think that Natialia, the Italian singer, was choosed out of Factor X

Do you think san marino will pass to the final?

I don't think Yle streams its ESC broadcast outside of Finland at all, but my commentary is broadcast simultaneously on Radio Vega, which is available live online. :)

Sweden is a monarchy, yes. But some people (not a majority) would rather have a republic... Touchy issues, these ones. :)
The Swedish of Finland is more or less identical to the one of Sweden. Some minor differences in vocabulary and pronounciation, but it is like Dutch in the Netherlands and Belgium, I suppose.
In Finland, ESC has commentary in both Swedish and Finnish on TV2 - we have this double sound option, so you can select commentary in the language of your choice. And the people who selected Swedish in the last two years heard me... :)

    Reply from Carlos:

yes :) here in catalonia we have the same with independence or not, and we had great strike on 10th july for independence :) because they had banned us a law giving more powers to us

Thanks for solving me this thing :) Great, do you know some site were you can see eurovision in the finnish tv? i mean for next year, and ifts pssible in swedish :D

    Hey Carlos,
sorry for the belated reply, but better late than never, right? :)
Well, I am actually a Swede who moved to Finland, but I live and work in the Swedish speaking community of Finland.
The Swedish royalists, those are the people in Sweden who really like the royal family and supports Sweden being a monarchy... And they had a big party this year, as crown princess Victoria got married... :)

    Reply from Carlos:

welcome back thomas , and of course :) Ooo i thinked you were finnish but anyway , do the swedish of finland have the same accent than swedish of sweden?

Quite strange thing if you sweden are a monarchy right? :)
