  it's nice to see how a "simple music contest" has became a worldwide event... tell me... what do people think about this in "far LA"?

  Hello there. Sorry for the delay in responding...just been too busy to keep up with everything. But, now I'm caught up on the semi finals. And, yes, this simple music contest has had quite effect. I got pulled into it due to a previous relationship and a connection to someone who was involved in music publishing in Europe and knew a lot of the songwriters.
  
  I must be fairly in touch with European likes this year, as almost every single one of my picks from the semis made it into the final. My tops are Iceland, Malta, Serbia, and Cyprus. I also really like Moldova. I just got back from a trip to Russia a few weeks ago, and who doesn't love a babushka? Ha!

  Nice to hear from you and to hear how you got into ESC :)
  I've been addicted for as long as I can remember. It's something about that mix of any type of music, one big happy family brought together :)
  I think it's a rather high level of good songs this year. Hard to select a top 5 list.. My absolute favourite though, she's clear. That's Loreen from Sweden, followed by Germany, Serbia, Spain and Iceland. Further I would like to squeeze a couple of more songs into my top 5, Norway, Estonia, Cyprus, France, Romania and Italy, for now :)
  Let me know what you think of the songs as you get to listen more to these.

  Sorry for the delay...i like several of those too...my tops are Iceland, Malta, Serbia, and Cyprus, along with Estonia, France, and Moldova. Are you only watching, or actually in Baku? A friend in LA who is originally from Scotland is over there. He goes every year! One of these years I'm going to go with him.
