I agree, to a certain extent, your blog about this year's ESC. Malta and Iceland were definitely the best singers. Their voices were pleasing to my ears.
However, they were not the most entertaining acts for me. Moldova's entry always made me feel happy whenever I heard it. That type of song to me typifies what Eurovision is all about. It was fun, it illustrated some of the culture of Moldova and had a happy feel about it.
My favourite entries were Ireland (I'm a sucker for rock chicks), which reminded me a little of Avril Lavigne. But, of course, they didn't qualify.
Another of my favourites was Estonia, I love to listen to stringed instruments and Urban Symphony were quite pleasurable to the eye (Sorry for being sexist, but I am a man).
The only song I couldn't get was the Latvian entry, Probka.
Despite what you think about Portugal's entry, I really enjoy listening to it. As I told you earlier, I thought it was the best Portugese since 1991.
I also thought that Spain was a good entry this year. I could probably say something nice about all the others I've not mentioned, but it's late and time for my bed.
Hope I haven't bored you too much, and if you've got any exams coming up, I wish you well in them. Bye for now.
