commented on First Semi-Final concludes, we have ten finalists!

@AliveX99 There is no scoreboard in the semi finals. After the final we will get the results with all the points of the semi finals. Now we know only who is in the Grand Final.

I like the song very much! Nina performed it very good. With a strong voice as a tough woman.

I like the song. But the performance looks more like an artistical practice than a song presentation. Unfortunately! Less dancers - more Anggun!

commented on Joan to be the voice of the Netherlands in Baku

It's a shame that neither Pearl nor Ivan won. Joan's song is pulpy one escpecially when she is wearing such a horrible costume. These are not the nineties, we are living in 2012. I think and hope, that this song is not reaching the Grand Final.

Italy seems to be ambivalent with its entry to the ESC. It's only the artist which is chosen - but why not the song? And why is not the winner of the Sanremo festival going to Baku? The ESC seems to be an appendix to the festival. Though Ell & Nikki have been there to announce the ESC act it looked like a short thing incidentally talked about. Perhaps Italy has been too long abscent to the contest to recognize its meaning.

Well, they made a show out of the boring semi final allocation draw!

The idea of the live performances was very good. Even though the audience was very silent. I liked the most the live performers Alexander Rybak, Lena and Ell & Nikki. They did a very good job. Unfortunately Safura sung full playback - she disqualified herself from getting respect. And I hope in the real shows the sound quality will be better. The sound through the microphones and the mixture with the playback music was not very good mostly.

I hope there will be good shows in May. Looking forward to see them on TV. And on the final night we will have an Azerbaidjan buffet at my home with friends and watching the show.

About me

I love the idea of the ESC: Several European musicians coming together and showing the audience different kinds of music. It's a friendly European Neighbourhood. And a bazar of music I didn't know before...
