I'm right with Craig on this one. If there was ever a chance for Australia to compete in the Song Contest (as we have hoped for so long), the Asiavision contest would be the optimal opportunitity.
Having a look at the website I haven't noticed an actual list of countries participating, but that little map as part of the background shows Indonesia but not Australia. We are part of Asia Pacific and even our own politicians proclaim us as part of Asia.
I would love for them to perhaps expand the boundries and let us be part of the celebrations. I imagine SBS would want to be on-board for it as well at least as a broadcast partner.
I guess only time will tell.
